Upon review of various sorts of teeth whiteners, I came across a product
that may be the whitener of the future. Not yet available for purchase
in the United State, you can order it online and have it shipped. I have
not tested this product, nor do I know the results. However I find the
concept intriguing.
With the United Kingdom being known for less than perfect teeth, they have
managed to create the newest product to whiten teeth. With a price of £6.99
per tube, which equals about $30.00 with shipping to the USA, Pearl Drops
Instant White is like make-up for your teeth. The whitener is simple to
use, and very effective. The downside is that it is very temporary.
To apply, you shake the tube to activate the ingredients. Next, you use the applicator to brush on the whitener. If you have specific discolorations, such as spots or stains, you can use this to touch up those areas. It is recommended though to be used on the whole tooth for best results. You allow the solution to dry, and it creates a “paint-on veneer” appearance. The hard shell covers your tooth and lasts until you eat or brush your teeth. This stops the sensitivity issue, and allows for an economical option. For someone who wants to see what his or her teeth would look like white, this is a great trial product.
For the cost of this unique application it may be worth a try. I do not
suggest buying it on a regular basis. For the cost of constant maintenance
you could get a professional cleaning. Once a similar product becomes available
in the United States, it may be worth the money. At that point you are
looking at a price tag of probably less than $20, based on the UK price.
That can be great for someone who is afraid of the dentist and is worried
about bleaching side effects.
On this product, if it works as well as it is described, it could be a
huge cosmetic breakthrough. This would also be great if you have children.
Once approved for adolescent use, this would be a great alternative to
peroxide whitening. For anyone who just had braces removed, this can also
be an effective tool for any staining. There are a few situations that
modern bleaching cannot combat, and this alleviates the need to go through
the sometimes-painful treatments.
With a lot of scams and guaranteed results that do not do what they say,
it is necessary to be skeptical. The thought of temporary veneers in a
bottle is phenomenal. I could not find where side effects were listed,
but I am sure there may be a few. The true testimonials would also be nice
to read. So, keep your eyes open, I am sure if it is a great product it
will make it’s way here rather quickly. If it does not make it here, I
guess the product was in fact too good to be true. |
